David Rhoads

Bio

David Rhoads received his BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2010. His work has been exhibited locally and nationally. Rhoads has curated a number of exhibitions including L’hourloupe at the Greenlease Gallery, Sculpties at the H & R Block Artspace, and Twenty Something at City Ice Arts. In 2011 he received a merit scholarship to attend the Vermont Studio Center, and in 2010 received the Leigh Rosenberg Earnest Memorial Fund scholarship from the Kansas City Artists Coalition. Rhoads was recently featured by Alice Thorson in the Kansas City Star. He is an Associate Preparator at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, currently living and working in Kansas City, MO.
